This is me. I'm 61 years old and i've been making models most of my life, starting with the usual Airfix offerings. Late 2008 I had the misfortune to lose my business leaving me with a big problem. Finding a job at 54 years of age was going to be hard enough, but with the economic climate as it was/is, it was looking very grim indeed.    

 

GP Miniatures was born out of desperation more than anything and considering i've had no formal training, i'm quite pleased with the results. It seems to have been a very long apprenticeship with a twist at every single turn. I now feel I have a handle on what i'm doing and look forward to launching a lot of new kits.
